Good Counsel Academy Elementary is located within walking
distance to downtown White Plains and is accessible to
mass transit system that include Metro North and other
methods of public transportation.
The school is situated on a large campus that is shared with
Our Lady of Good Counsel Academy High School, the
Sisters of Divine Compassion and Pace University.
The campus has a chapel used for concerts
and religious observances during the school year, the
Kearny Gymnasium and a computer lab with 23 new
computers. The computer lab is equipped with digital projectors
mounted on the ceilings and stereo to produce a rich media
educational experience.
All classrooms have computers for use by the students and
all teachers use a laptop and Mimio virtual ink
technology to enhance the learning experience using
the smart board technology. Computers located in
every classroom enhance the learning experience
using multimedia and the internet.
Good Counsel continues to enhance the learning experience for all students from the Pre-K program to the 8th grade.
